Terms and Conditions for Participation in Norsemen Auctions: • Payment and Bidding: o If you do not intend to pay, please refrain from bidding, as non-compliance will result in the revocation of your bidding rights on Norsemen. A buyer's fee will be charged to your credit card. • Item Representation: o All items are sold "As is Where is" with no guarantees. Equipment is represented to the best of our knowledge. Hour meter readings, kilometers/miles are unverified, and accuracy is not guaranteed. It is highly recommended that all items are viewed in person. All sales are final. • Release of Equipment: o No equipment will be released until payment is made in full. Buyers are responsible for ensuring the condition of purchases made on the day of sale. Norsemen Auctions assumes no responsibility for equipment at any time. • Buyer's Responsibility: o Buyers are responsible for the pick-up of equipment from the moment the auction ends. Any damages incurred during or after pick-up are the buyer's responsibility. Norsemen Auctions does not assume liability for the safety or condition of the equipment after the sale closes. we will not incure costs if there are missing parts or parts are not shipped.  all parts and documents regarding title etc must be verified before pickup once equipment leaves the transaction and considered 100 percent to buyers standards and understanding.  • Contact Information: o For inquiries about the auction, contact the listed salesman before placing a bid. • Payment Methods: o Payments are required within 3 business days via Wire, Check, Cashier's check, e-transfer, or Cash. No later than the following Monday upon the auction's completion. Credit cards are not accepted for payment. • International Purchases: o Purchases outside of Canada must be paid by cheque and sent by registered mail or wire. A $50.00 fee must be added to all wire transfers. • Invoicing and Sales Tax: o An invoice will be sent to the registered email address after the sale concludes. Applicable sales tax will be applied, except for farm equipment. • Successful Bidder Communication: o Successful bidders must contact Norsemen Auctions within 24 hours of the auction's completion to verify the method of payment. Please call our office numbers 204-900-6036 or 204-641-2661 for invoicing and logistics. • Pick-Up and Storage: o Items must be picked up within 14 days upon completion of the auction. A $25.00/day storage fee will be charged after 14 days unless other arrangements are made. • Communication: o It is the responsibility of the Buyer to communicate with Norsemen Auctions regarding any delays or challenges in picking up the purchased items. • Exceptional Circumstances: o In exceptional circumstances such as unforeseen emergencies or unavoidable situations, the Buyer may contact Norsemen Auctions to discuss possible extensions or alternative arrangements. • Inclement Weather: o In the event of inclement weather or natural disasters that may impede the timely pick-up of items, Norsemen Auctions will consider reasonable extensions or accommodations. Buyers are encouraged to contact Norsemen Auctions promptly to discuss any weather-related challenges. • Abandonment Policy: o If an item is not picked up within 30 days and there is no communication from the Buyer with Norsemen Auctions or the Consignor, the item will be considered abandoned. • Abandonment Consequences: o Norsemen Auctions reserves the right to resell the abandoned item without any compensation to the Buyer. Any proceeds from the resale will not be credited to the original Buyer. • Notification: o Norsemen Auctions will make reasonable efforts to notify the Buyer before considering an item abandoned. However, it remains the Buyer's responsibility to stay informed and communicate regarding the status of their purchased items. • Discretionary Authority: o Norsemen Auctions retains the discretion to make exceptions to the above policies in situations it deems appropriate, considering the circumstances surrounding the delay in pick-up. • Shipping Arrangements: o For items to be shipped, full payment must be made at the conclusion of the auction. Shipping costs will be treated as a separate transaction by a third party. • Loading Arrangements: o Schedule loading arrangements 24 hours ahead of picking up equipment if possible. • Legal Disclaimer: o These terms and conditions are legally binding, and failure to comply with the stipulated timelines may result in the application of the outlined fees and abandonment policies. By participating in the auction, the Buyer acknowledges and agrees to abide by these terms and conditions. Norsemen Auctions reserves the right to update or modify these terms at its discretion
